Mortlake Road
MDA was approached to work on an ambitious home extension, both at ground and attic level, for an end-of-terrace Edwardian house.
Central to the success of our concept was to free up the internal space. We achieved this by inverting the internal circulation space; moving the main access and circulation to the newly-designed side extension. We worked closely with the clients whose clear vision of materials and finishes enabled us to create a range of unique, rich and vibrant spaces. These were further enhanced by a variety of daylight sources and bespoke lighting design.
The scheme was showcased in the The Guardian’s Lifestyle section.
